I took a photo of the sky outside my apartment one day. I thought the sky looked really pretty that day with all the purple and pink shades in the clouds.

I dunno whether it's because of global warming or some other man-made problem, but it was peaceful to just look and stare at the awesome-ness that was nature.

I love Jesse Eisenberg's narration throughout the film and how his personality in the movie totally classes with Woody Harrelson's character. Go and see it if you haven't, because it is a funny movie worth your time ;D

The 4th book of the Mortal Instrument series (City of Fallen Angels) still hasn't been released here :( I can't wait any longer, it's been 3 weeks since the release in US, it should be here by now.

Oh well, guess I'll have to wait a little while longer.

It's time I introduced Sandy to the blog. :)

She's my dog and instead of being the 'loyal canine', she is demanding and whiny. She starts barking if I don't pet her and interrupts my work constantly.

But, she has her good side too! She accompanies me when I take naps and always lets me hug her XD

braces and glasses

I got another one of my teeth extracted today for the braces I will be getting next week! I'm kinda glad all the extracting is over because having anesthetic in your gums is the strangest feeling ever. You can't feel anything (I tested this by pinching myself and getting all amazed when I couldn't feel a thing) and the side that gets injected feels heavy like you've got something heavy lodged there.

And lots of blood flows out too :/ I think I had to switch nearly 8 cottons before the bleeding subsided. The dentist put my teeth in a plastic casing as a souvenir XD

So, I'll be getting braces next week to wear for 15 months to align my crooked bottom and top teeth and my protruding jaw. Wow, I'm making my teeth sound really bad.

Besides teeth extraction, the past week has been quite boring as there hasn't been much lessons going on in class. So, I took the free time in school to finish Book Two of The Mortal Instruments Series :D


It is awesome.

My friends(namely rachelle) label me as a fantasy nerd because I get excited over nerdy stuff like when new books come out and cosplay events..

and I've been complaining to her on the movie that is about to be made based on The Mortal Instruments series and how crucial it is that Alex Pettyfer play the male lead.


He just has to. Seriously. I will be pissed if they choose someone else.

After a year-long hiatus, I've decided to reopen my blog :)

Maybe it was the idea that I would have a proper place to start posting my thoughts, rants, and just general stuff that happened. Or maybe it was the idea that I could finally have a place to spam with pictures, videos, and do one-worded posts :)

Either way, the blog is alive again!! :P

So, I guess to commemorate the beginning of the blog, I will write down some of my favourite things:

1. Song
When You Were Young by The Killers


Recently, I've gotten addicted to The Killers when I heard their song play on the radio. I like all their songs, but this one is the best one for me :) To me, the lyrics show a girl being saved from heartache by the most unlikely hero. He doesn't always treat her well, but in the end, he offers her hope and love.

I especially like the lyrics, "The Devil's water ain't too sweet, don't have to drink right now, but you can dip your feet, every once in a little while," because it shows how you can get drawn to temptation. Aweshum Possum song!! :D

2. Movie
The Breakfast Club directed by John Hughes


This is the best teen movie for me! Even if it was directed back in the 80's, the many themes that the story touches, such as peer pressure and the expectation to be perfect, can be related even today. 5 students meet up in detention to discover that they're not that different from each other. They have been stereotyped in school and it wasn't until that day they realized that they're all (as the tagline says) a nerd, a princess, an athelete, a basket-case, and a criminal.
